Beta Canis Minoris is a variable star in the constellation of Canis Minor. It has the proper name Gomeisa, pronounced ; Beta Canis Minoris is its Bayer designation. In the night sky it is notable for its proximity to the prominent star Procyon. This is a probable binary star system.
