Eastern Bengali, Baṅgālī Bengali (Bengali: বঙ্গালী বাংলা, romanized: Bôṅgālī Bāṅlā, pronounced [bɔŋgɑli bɑŋlɑ]) or Vaṅga Bengali (Bengali: বঙ্গ বাংলা, romanized: Bôṅgô Bāṅlā, pronounced [bɔŋgɔ bɑŋlɑ]), is a set of vernacular dialects of Bengali, spoken in most of Bangladesh, parts of Tripura and West Bengal, Barak Valley in Assam, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and surrounding areas.
